Trumen Eva Case Study: Expert Marketplace and Online Sessions

/img/cases/trumen.png

Brief description

Mobile and web platform for matching specialists and online sessions with chats, video calls, and payments

Task

Build an infrastructure project for extensive work with users’ mental health that includes not just a marketplace of psychologists with booking, communication, and payments, but an infrastructure within which the user will find many tools to help themselves — both independently and with a specialist.

About the project

An infrastructure marketplace platform for mental health work, communication, and finding specialists in psychology, coaching, astrology, and other practices. A large set of tools for users was developed; both a WEB version of the platform and iOS/Android apps were created. It consists of many different modules connected into a single tool.

Business benefits

QUARTERLY GROWTH DYNAMICS STAYED AT 200% THANKS TO COMMISSIONS FROM SESSION PAYMENTS AND PAID FEATURES INSIDE THE PLATFORM
AVERAGE CHECK INCREASED BY 40% THANKS TO SERVICE PACKAGES, ADDITIONAL PRACTICES, AND ASSISTANTS INSIDE CHATS
STABLE GROWTH IN SESSIONS / IN-APP PURCHASES THANKS TO A LARGE VOLUME OF INTERNAL TOOLS FOR CLIENTS AND SPECIALISTS

Work with the client

*Important: this is not project work — it is work with the client specifically, and it is not in the estimate or commercial proposal. This is what we do to increase the probability of product success. On this project we grew into the client’s business at the level of release strategy, sprint planning, and problem-solving regulations. Along with the platform release, the client received documents that were not part of the agreements but mattered for the client and their further development as a business. We also took on financial risks for new hypotheses that were tested on the project. We are convinced: the most valuable asset in a project is the founder’s mind. That is why the full development cycle was accompanied by a personal track for the owner. Defence.investments CEO Pavel Pomazanov ran a series of deep conversations where, without illusions, he highlighted which entrepreneurial qualities would shape the product’s fate in the next six months, and which would need compensation through hiring. We helped the owner see where they themselves were the bottleneck, and build a personal decision-making system for the new speed of the business. The outcome — not just a finished product, but an entrepreneur who grew with their project. Our goal is not just development — it is our client’s success.

Design goals:

INCREASE USER RETENTION BETWEEN SESSIONS BY 60% THROUGH SHORT USEFUL SCENARIOS INSIDE THE APP
MAKE SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT CONVENIENT FOR SPECIALISTS SO THEY ACCEPT CLIENTS THROUGH THE PLATFORM MORE OFTEN
BUILD TRUST FROM THE FIRST SCREEN: NEAT CARDS, CLEAR STATUSES, TRANSPARENT COMMUNICATION AND PAYMENT RULES

Design results:

THE USER QUICKLY UNDERSTANDS THE PATH: CHOOSE A SPECIALIST, BOOK, COMMUNICATE, PAY
USERS RETURN 70% MORE OFTEN THANKS TO CONTENT MODULES AND RESULT HISTORY
PAID SESSIONS GREW BY 100% BECAUSE BOOKING AND PAYMENT ARE SIMPLE AND CLEAR
FEWER MISSED BOOKINGS, AS CALENDAR AND NOTIFICATIONS KEEP ATTENTION
THE PLATFORM LOOKS LIKE A SINGLE SERVICE, NOT A SET OF DISCONNECTED FEATURES, SO IT IS EASIER TO TRUST
