When I was choosing a development team many years ago, I spoke with a large number of platform and solution developers, but nobody except DEF.I could guarantee the timeline and fix the development cost.

Throughout the project, it was clear that the team was experienced and understood the specifics of investment products: statuses, analytics, user expectations and operational risks.

The result was a working platform with sound logic, a convenient personal account and a clear project marketplace. Yes, there were revisions and changes along the way, but they were all resolved constructively and without conflict. For us, this was a true partnership, rather than working with just another contractor.

We are a small investment fund. When we came to Defence.Investments, we had products, a client base and a rather vague idea of how to put it all together into a proper platform. Two other contractors quoted a year of development and a budget we simply could not afford at the start.

Here, they suggested using their ready-made solution as a foundation and adapting it to our needs. At first I was wary: I was afraid we would end up with a template we could not change later. In practice, everything that mattered to us was customised, and we launched in about six months. I also want to mention the communication with the company’s head. We had several long calls where we discussed the entire business: the risks, where we were losing money and which products were actually worth launching. I never expected that from developers, and those conversations probably gave me as much as the platform itself.

Some individual deadlines did shift, partly because of us: we changed requirements along the way. Each time, the team calmly explained what was happening and why, and offered options.

Now our clients can see all our programmes in one account, choose for themselves, add funds and make withdrawals. Our managers’ work has become noticeably easier, and we add new products ourselves. I recommend them.
