Pilinia Case Study: E-commerce Platform for Lingerie Sales

Brief description

Women’s lingerie marketplace: catalog with product cards and checkout; the showcase is managed via an admin panel.

Task

Build a women’s lingerie marketplace with a product showcase and order flow, where catalog and product cards are managed in an admin panel.

About the project

We built a marketplace for women’s lingerie. Shoppers browse, add items to favorites, or place orders from product cards on the storefront, while product cards themselves are created and managed by an administrator through the admin panel.

Working with the client

*Important: this is not project delivery work — it is work with the client specifically, and it is not in the estimate or commercial proposal; it is what we do to raise the product’s chance of successAn educational foundation the client builds on later on their ownThe best reward for us is when six months later the client says: “I could already launch a similar project from scratch myself.” We deliberately structure the work so every development stage is also learning. We explain why a given architecture was chosen, how it ties to scaling risks, and which metrics will be early indicators of success or trouble. A separate focus is launch marketing mechanics proven on real cases in this period. Plus a personal track with the director, where internal blocks and entrepreneurial fears that slow growth no less than technical mistakes are addressed. The owner leaves the project not just with a tool, but with a thinking system that multiplies their odds of success. Our goal is not just development — it is our client’s success.

Design goals:

PUT VISUALS AT THE CENTER: LINGERIE SELLS THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY, SO THE UI HIGHLIGHTS THE PRODUCT AND STAYS A NEUTRAL BACKDROP
SHORTEN THE PATH FROM PRODUCT CARD TO ORDER TO RAISE PURCHASE CONVERSION BY 60%
CONVEY BRAND CHARACTER: DESIGNER HAND-SEWN LINGERIE NEEDS A DELICATE, AESTHETIC PRESENTATION

Design results:

THE STOREFRONT IS BUILT AROUND PHOTOS: LARGE IMAGES, MINIMAL VISUAL NOISE, ATTENTION ON THE PRODUCT IMMEDIATELY
THE PRODUCT CARD ANSWERS QUESTIONS BEFORE CHECKOUT: MODEL, SIZES, PRICE, AND AVAILABILITY ARE VISIBLE AT ONCE
SHORT PURCHASE FLOW: FROM CHOOSING A SET TO PLACING AN ORDER IN AS FEW STEPS AS POSSIBLE
SITE AESTHETICS MATCH A DESIGNER BRAND — TRUST IN THE STORE FORMS FROM THE FIRST SCREEN
